Soft, organic cloth pads are a great choice for a zero waste lifestyle - these washable cloth period pads are thin, smooth and comfortable, and won't cause irritation. The hidden layer of polyurethane will prevent leaks, leaving you feeling confident and comfortable during your period.
Washing instructions and advice - We recommend you have enough pads to last your whole period, place the used pads in a small bucket or wet bag, when you've finished your period rinse them all together in cold water to help remove the blood stains. Pop them in the washing machine without fabric softener and wash at 30-40 degrees C. Line drying is best, especially on a sunny day to help remove any stains. Once dry, you're ready for when your next period comes around. For stubborn stains you can try soaking in cold salt water before washing.
The benefits of washable menstrual pads: Organic cotton and bamboo period pads allow your body to breathe and feel fresh during your period which means your much less likely to get thrush infections. Disposable pads are often bleached and have chemical gels which can irritate your sensitive areas unlike these organic pads which are completely toxin free giving you full confidence.
